About Me

by day i'm a diligent employee of big-box retail, but by night & weekend my (creative and overachieving) true self emerges.

i think it all started when my great grandmother taught me to crochet at around age nine. from there i've delved into decoupage, sewing, scrapbooking, jewelry design and construction, stamping, photography, felting, book altering, and soldering.

the prospect of a new project gives me chills and there's no craft genre i won't try.

all of this of course is compounded by my mom... just as talented as martha stewart, but infinitely more loving and law abiding. my dad, i think, is just happy i'm writing something... anything.

i have a lovely and wonderful husband of right at three years who never complains when my craft supplies spill onto his side of the study-o (my studio + his study) and a sweet little pup that curls up on my feet. what more could a girl need?
